Senior Traffic Engineer

Mr. Bhonsle is the Senior Traffic Engineer at ITS Regional, LLC and has more than 8 years of experience in the field of Traffic/Transportation Engineering. His experience also includes working on multiple international projects in Middle East and India.

Mr. Bhonsle has performed numerous traffic analyses and studies for both the public and private sectors. He specializes in traffic impact studies, feasibility studies, parking studies, traffic calming studies, signal warrant studies, intersection and roadway capacity analysis, signal design, roundabout design, pedestrian and bicycle facility design, site access management and concurrency analysis.

As a senior member of the traffic team at ITS Regional, Mr. Bhonsle is also involved with preparing signal timing plans, work-zone traffic control plans, roadway striping and signage plans and supervises the traffic data collection tasks. Mr. Bhonsle has specialized training in multiple traffic analysis and simulation software packages such as SIDRA, VISSIM, CORSIM, Synchro/SimTraffic, TRANSYT-7F, PASSER-II, HCS and traffic data collection software packages such as PetraPro, TraxPro and PC-Travel.
